Now these cards did take a little (LOT) of tweaking!!!! I couldn't quite figure out how to get the effects I was after, but I did get there in the end. It was really very simple - all I needed to do was create a mask to cover my butterfly and then sponge around the centre of the background stamp to create the softer edges around the butterfly, but it DID take a few attempts to get there - hehehehhe. I am really happy with the result though...I've then used my blender pen to add colour to the small flowers (from the Vintage Vogue flourish stamp) and the butterfly. Do really need to buy some Brown Stazon ink though for this sort of thing - the outlines of my butterfly's did bleed a little, but only if you look really really close!!!! :)
I was so tempted to keep those tins for myself - I LOVED them, but it feels really good giving something away you really really like! I just hope the gift-ee liked them as much!!! :) :) :)
