Procrastinating

So blogging is fast becoming my way of ignoring the mounds of housework I SHOULD be doing! I don't feel quite so bad blogging as I do crafting when the house is a mess! hehehehe

Thought I'd share another card with you...

I don't think I really knew where I was going with this card when I was making it (and looking at it now all I can see it that HORRID knot!!! I am so sorry!!!!). Basically I just had stuff still out on the table and tried to make them work. I'm not in love with this card but I don't hate it either (except for that knot! I thought I had finally conquered the 'knot' after a good 6 months of trying - obvioulsy not yet!).

CS: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Soft Suede, Old Olive Marker
Stamp Set: Cheep Talk, Heard From the Heart
Other: Riding Hood Red Buttons (Button Bouquet), Scallop Edge Border Punch, Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon, Paper Piercer, Kiwi Kiss DSP, Riding Hood Red DSP

Incidentally - I teach piano and one of my piano mum's was having a play with stamp stuff while I was teaching her kids and this is the card she came up with...I thought it was awesome and may just have to CASE this for a workshop!!!!

(Sorry about the bad photo - I had to grab one quick before they left!!! AWESOME job Michelle!!! :)

Thanks for stopping by, come again soon!!!

Smiles

Your colour combination is really nice and for a card you didn't know where you were going with you've done really well. Okay so your knot needs a little work lol but you can fix that - I've got a little tip on how to tie a good looking knot, is probably best explained in a pic tutorial. I might work on that.

Your piano mum has done a lovely job with her card, I might have to CASE it too :o)

nice card - good to see those stamp sets are getting a work out - yours are still sitting on my dining room table!! But my house is clean!!! haha!

that single sided ribbon can be hard to get a good looking knot from too. Lyanna has a knot tutorial on her blog - I haven't followed it, because as you know I love knots already! Anyway, might be worth checking out http://lyannageorge.wordpress.com/category/tutorial/

You're a crack up!! I love this card, it is really vibrant and so cute!! And if you hadn't mentioned the knot I wouldn't have noticed it - and I still don't think it's so horrid. How do you do it?? Even a card you didn't know where it was going turned out fabulous! (And I like Michelle's card too)
